December is a colder time of the year to visit these countries but it is surprisingly warmer than you might expect. In Delhi you can expect low overnight temperatures around 9°C but warming up to 22°C during the day. Bhutan is colder with overnight temperatures dropping to just below freezing at -1°C but warming up to +10°C during the day. In Kathmandu, you can expect temperatures between 3°C and 18°C.

Traveling during December has the added advantage that generally (unfortunately we can't control the weather) the skies are clear this time of year with low chance of precipitation.
